How Flexible Search Works
Flexible Search Forms
To access our trip planning tools, use one of the forms at the bottom of the home page. With them, we offer you ways to compare fares for flights departing within a 30-day range. 
Graph View
If you submit a specific destination from the "Know When to Travel™" form on the home page, you will land on the Graph View. In this section, you can see yesterday's lowest available fare for multiple destinations across 30 departure dates. On the graph itself, you can click any data point to see the lowest fare amount.
You can sort the listings under the map in ascending or descending order by clicking the column titles. Additionally, you can use the Refine Results area on the left of the page to specify up to five cities, change dates, and filter results as you choose.
Map View
If you submit a destination of "all cities" from the "Know Where to Travel™" form on the home page, you will land on the Map View. In this section, you can see yesterday's lowest available fare for multiple destinations at the same time. On the map itself, you can zoom in and out of different areas, click and drag the map to move it around, and click on a price flag to find out the travel dates for that low fare.
Again, you can sort the listings under the map in ascending or descending order by clicking the column titles, and you can use the Refine Results area on the left of the page to specify up to five cities, change dates, and filter results as you choose.
Grid View
From either the Graph View or the Map View, you can click on the Grid tab to access this feature. In this view, you can see yesterday's lowest available fare by departure date and length of travel for a given destination. Use the scroll icons under the grid to view other departure dates. Double click on a square to view yesterday's lowest fares by time periods for that departure date.
Again, you can sort the listings under the map in ascending or descending order by clicking the column titles, and you can use the Refine Results area on the left of the page to specify up to five cities, change dates, and filter results as you choose.
Visit the home page to start shopping for flights using the Quick Search tool or planning trips with the Flexible Search tool.
