This weekend, Damon Darlin of The New York Times wrote an article on Farecast (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/01/business/01money.html). This article not only ended up being printed on the front page of the business section, but and it was one of the most popular (emailed) articles on from the website.

Nice article in the N.Y. Times. I remember reading about Oren’s research on Meta-crawler in 1997-1998 back when I was doing computer science graduate research at Virginia Tech. I remember discussing meta-crawler in a cs research article we published later.

Wow, another great service for travelers - this handy thing has to be one of the greatest new travel tools I’ve seen in a long time. It’s just a shame you can’t do JetBlue yet - they tend to have the lowest fares (sometimes by a fair amount), and it would be interesting to see their predictive power.

But seriously, kudos to you all. I wish you the best of luck - I know I’ll be using this lovely service quite often.
