The Next YouTubes

After all the recent buzz regarding Google’s acquisition of YouTube, TIME magazine took a look at the world of Web 2.0 in their article “The Next YouTubes”. They focused on Farecast, Zillow, Yelp and 30Boxes. Here is an excerpt of what they had to say about us:

There are plenty of good travel sites, so any new entry needs to have a better idea. Farecast.com uses fearsome computer power to predict the direction of plane fares.

    I would like to invite the good folks at Google, who have acquired the “YouTube” product to talk about the unlimited revenue potentional by providing existing youtube footage, increased revenue and scoop per adveristing. The current platform, which offers unlimited amounts of entertainment and related information can and should be supported with no or little cost with airline carries already to except broadcasting. Future applications may spin off with additionally applications and increased global access. From my jumpseat to yours, TRAVIS LIBERTY, Brining Ideas to Life!
