Testing Fare Guard

Posted on Monday 13 November 2006

Earlier today, we launched a test site which allows users to try out and provide feedback on our newest feature – Fare Guard. With Fare Guard, you can protect the lowest fare for one week without buying a ticket.

How does it work? Well, the basic steps are:

  • Guard today’s lowest fare for one week when you purchase a Fare Guard.
  • Track fares daily via email to help you find a lower fare.
  • Book your tickets within the week to redeem your Fare Guard.
  • Redeem the difference between your Fare Guard price and the lowest fare on the day you booked.

We would love help testing this new feature, and for a limited time, we are offering Fare Guard for the introductory price of $1 (regular price is $9.95). If you would like a chance to try it out, you will need to register to test Fare Guard.

Thanks for your interest as we work to make Fare Guard a great new feature for everyone!

$9.99 per what, month, year, nanosecond, ticket? Nor does it say much on the sign-up page.

Jason, thanks for your comment. For Fare Guard, the regular price is $9.95 per ticket. This will protect you for 7 days. However, during this testing period, we are offering Fare Guard for only $1.00 per ticket.
