Find Record Lows

The big news around here this week is the introduction of Farecast Deals.  Mike did a great job of explaining it in his blog post on Tuesday.  One way I describe it to people is that it’s a super high-tech fish finder.  We sort through millions of different airfares in the travel search ocean and this new tool finds exactly where the best deals are located.

For example, at 2:26 AM this morning, we found that fares from Boston (BOS) to West Palm Beach, FL  (PBI) hit a nine-month record low of  $119, breaking the old record by $18.  Continental filed this fare and offers numerous flight options for travel starting in late April (see graph below) through late May.  We think these prices will be rising shortly and this fare sale could be very short-lived.

Check out deals from the following cities: San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, and more.
