Redfin and Madrona just announced the Naked Truth, a great opportunity for local entrepreneurs to learn how to break through and deal with the media. Getting the word out through the right channels is a critical ingredient to the success of any start-up, so don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from experts that live it every day.
A panel discussion at 5:30PM will be followed by a beer and BBQ bash at 6:30PM. Participating on the panel are Rebecca Buckman of The Wall Street Journal, Fred Vogelstein of Wired Magazine, Michael Arrington of TechCrunch, John Cook of The Seattle PI, Tricia Duryee of The Seattle Times and. Madrona’s Greg Gottesman will be the moderator.
Redfin and Madrona are picking up the tab. A bunch of great local start-ups are pitching in to get the word out, including iLike, WetPaint, Jobster, WildTangent and of course, Farecast.
If you’re in, you need to sign up at this wiki. Capacity is limited and this event is sure to fill up fast. The first 200 get to check out the panel, and the first 500 are in for the booze and BBQ party. It should be a great night.
Check out the classic post on the event by Redfin’s CEO Glenn Kelman; he ain’t kidding about Mr. Gottesman…he will bring it!
