Farecast Expands Its Deal Platform

Just Launched - Deals Alert via email. The team here is thrilled at the new expansion of our deals platform, which began as a way to surface deals on our site that are based on science not marketing. Our Deals Alert is different because we apply science to airfare deals. We find the absolute lowest fare for a given market (e.g., SEA-JFK, SFO-LAS) for major travel dates, over the next 90 days. (This takes over 1 million airfare searches each day.) Then we compare it to millions, if not billions, of the lowest fares we’ve ever seen for that market. In addition we show you how much you are saving based on past low airfares. Finally, when you receive the alert, we only show you the deals that are based on your home airport.

If you’re not signed up for our Deals Alert you can do so by either registering and making sure to keep “Promotional Offers” checked, or going to one of our deals pages and filling out the module on the right side.
