Fall is off with a bang and we are thrilled to be recognized by two of the travel industry’s premier travel consumer publications, Budget Travel and Travel + Leisure for innovation in smart travel search. Farecast has been selected as a winner of the 2007 Extra-Mile Awards honoring the top seven travel companies devoting themselves to improving the state of travel today. Farecast is honored to be in esteemed company with travel leaders such as Virgin America, Alamo, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Marriott International, Avis and Homewood Suites by Hilton.
Budget Travel’s 2007 Extra Mile Awards look beyond the travel industry’s trials and tribulations to provide an optimistic overview of the companies that are working hard to make things easier for their customers.
The seven companies selected as the winners of Budget Travel’s 2007 Extra Mile Awards will be highlighted in Budget Travel’s upcoming October 2007 issue that hits stands today. Each company selected as a 2007 Extra Mile Awards winner will also be honored at an Invitation-only Dinner & Award Ceremony taking place on Thursday, 11 October 2007 at The Modern, during which time they will be called upon to receive a special Budget Travel snow globe honoring their efforts to “shake things up” in the travel industry.
