Make the most of the time you’re grounded, with our guides to the ten busiest airports in the U.S.

Our countdown of the busiest airports in the U.S. continues with #2 Chicago: O’Hare International Airport.

2. Chicago: O’Hare International Airport
Just a smidge behind Atlanta in the race for world’s busiest airport, O’Hare offers some surprising fun for bored travelers.

Best place to get a drink
Goose Island Microbrewery (Terminal 2), Billy Goat Tavern & Grill (Terminal 1).

Best place to eat
Berghoff Café (Terminal 1), Wolfgang Puck Café (Terminals 1 and 3).

Best place to amuse the kids
Take them to Terminal 1 to see the enormous dinosaur skeleton at the Field Museum, or to the Chicago Children’s Museum activity center in Terminal 2.

Best shopping
The Field Museum Store (Terminal 1), Chicago Historical Society Gift Shop (Terminal 3).

Best place to get online
Wi-fi is available for a fee in most areas of the airport.

Best cheap way to escape the airport
You can take the Blue Line train into Chicago for less than two bucks…but it’ll take about 45 minutes to get to the city. The station is located between Terminals 2 and 3.

Best place to see something cool
Terminal 1 has all the coolest stuff, including that don’t-miss-it dinosaur skeleton and a giant neon tunnel that connects Concourses B and C.
