United is running a sale for travel to Maui in April and May from either Los Angeles or San Francisco. Prices have tumbled over $100 since yesterday, and non-stop flights are now available for $311. This is about as low as fares go for travel to Maui, we haven’t seen fares significantly below $300 on these routes since the Fall of 2006.
The late Spring is a great time to head to Hawaii. After the madness of Spring break in March, prices are much more reasonable. Also, the rains of Winter subside starting in April, and you avoid the crowds that the Summer can bring.
